Put a small description of your character’s overall personality. This section should be a minimum of one paragraph, preferably two. Give us a solid insight into who your character is, internally and externally with others.
[div][attr="class","body"][div][attr="class","header2"]APPEARANCE[/div]
» HEIGHT: Your character's height.
» WEIGHT: Your character's weight.

» SKIN COLOR: Your character's skin color.
» FACE CLAIM NAME: Your face claim's name.

Use this space to describe your character's appearance. Pictures or linked images can be helpful additions.
[div][attr="class","body"][div][attr="class","header2"]HISTORY[/div]
Describe your character's history here. Like personality, it does not have to be excessively long, but it should give a decent enough idea as to who your character is and what they have been doing up to this current time. Your history will be read and reviewed to make sure everything makes sense and is sensible.This should be a minimum of 250 words.
When writing your history, think about all of the major events that took place to shape your character. Discuss their family life, their inspirations, their motivations, their struggles. Tell us what makes your character who they are.
[div][attr="class","body"][div][attr="class","header2"]ITEMS[/div]
This can include your character’s Hero / cool outfit, weaponry, convenience items and so forth - but note that weapons require an ability slot to be used with any real proficiency. These are more so items that are on your character’s direct person and have a personality to them, etc, for fun!
[div][attr="class","body"][div][attr="class","header2"]QUIRKS AND ABILITIES[/div]
QUIRK NAME: (The name of your Quirk. Feel free to be as simple or as creative as possible with them.)
QUIRK TYPE: (Emitter? Transformation? Mutation?)
QUIRK RANK: (What is the ability ranking for your Quirk?)
QUIRK TIER: (Your Quirk's ability tier.)
DESCRIPTION: (This is where the detail should come in. We would like you to be as specific and comprehensive as possible when it comes to detailing out your Quirk’s abilities. This section is significant, and alongside your Quirk’s drawbacks, will be the most scrutinized part of the application. We have a few basic guidelines to highlight how to make this process go smoother for all and how to get the most out of your character upon submission:
[ul type="disc"]
[li]Detail the extent and range of your power the best you can. You can provide numbers for comparison and examples or visuals are always welcome! (ex: Strong enough to lift a large boulder with one hand)[/li]
[li]You may have a max of three boons, or quirk advantages, to begin with. (ex: this mermaid mutation quirk user can self-regenerate, swim through storms and sing at supersonic frequencies). The more you have starting off with, max of three, the less powerful each component will be (see: dual-quirks).[/li]
[li]When creating a quirk consider the rank at which you’re starting off with (see: Quirks page for more information). For example, when making a Novice or Beginner level quirk, it is best to start with a simple concept. This doesn’t mean that it has to be necessarily weak. It just means that you should save the more complex features for down the road. After all, you always want to have something to shoot for with your future upgrades![/li]
[li]Carefully think about your cool downs entering the RP. (ex: Novice quirks generally have a 3/2 cooldown ratio. Three posts of active use. Two posts of down time.)[/li]
[/ul]
For those hoping to submit a dual-quirk character, it’s highly recommended that you talk to staff beforehand to see if your idea will be feasible. Typical examples of dual-quirk include Half-Hot, Half-Cold or something like an animal mutation with a specific elemental power. Each component of the quirk will need its own drawbacks and be balanced, much the same as the “three boons” rule. Dual-quirk characters are not inherently stronger than their single-quirk peers.)
DRAWBACKS: (These should be fair, reasonable, and most importantly related in some way to your Quirk. Remember that Quirks are a physical extension of your character’s body, meaning that overuse or overexertion can lead to severe harm to the body. Along with your Quirk’s description, this part of your application will be heavily examined as well. All quirk users can get headaches or fatigued if they overwork their power - how does this drawback relate specifically to your character? Drawbacks are separate from cooldowns.)
[div][attr="class","body"][div][attr="class","header2"]QUIRKS AND ABILITIES[/div]
(Any other abilities your character might have. Enhanced speed? Improved endurance? Are they trained in Muay Thai? Do they have enhanced eyesight or other senses? List them here! Keep in mind that these abilities have their rankings and descriptions just like Quirks.)
ABILITY NAME: Your ability’s name.
ABILITY RANK: Your ability’s rank.
ABILITY TIER: Your ability’s tier.
ABILITY DESCRIPTION: This requires specific and measurable detail as to its power or function, but need not be as extensive as the quirk. Abilities differ from quirks in that they are not as versatile as a quirk, since that’s a character’s core essence, but can still be just as powerful as a quirk of the same rank!
ONLY IF YOU ARE A STUDENT
ABILITY NAME: U.A. Life Alert [QS]
ABILITY TIER: Silver
ABILITY RANK: Intermediate
ABILITY DESCRIPTION: In light of past incidents where U.A. students have been targeted by villains and the growing unease within society, the school has finalized measures to further ensure student safety. This has resulted in the creation of the U.A. Life Alert, a device that serves to monitor the current health metrics of the students as well as provide them with instant access to teachers and heroes should trouble arise. With a simple touch or if their vitals drop to dangerous levels, a notification will be sent to U.A. servers as well as to the Heroes Association's Alert System. This alert will provide the heroes with updating GPS coordinates as well as continued monitoring of the student's health.
When utilized, this serves as an invitation for a player-controlled teacher or hero to enter into the thread. Alternatively, NPC teachers or heroes can arrive at the scene as well, should nobody accept the invitation.
The U.A. Life Alert comes in a variety of forms, which can be adjusted to suit the student's needs. The most common variation is a black wristband. These devices are made of a unique material that protects them from elemental damage as well as electronic-based interferences, such as hacking or EMPs. Alternatively, students can make use of these devices as training tools. They can monitor their heart rates and other health metrics. It is also handy in case of emergencies as it can provide medical officials with their necessary health information.
Note: As this item is mandatory for all students, this will not count towards any quirk or ability requirements your character may experience. For instance, this will not influence provisional license exam eligibility. Students that are caught removing their U.A. Life Alerts while off campus will undergo disciplinary measures, the most extreme of which could be expulsion. Teachers and heroes will only have access to medical information while the emergency function is active. Though they could request for your student to provide them with said information.
